Our Business Development Manager, Eleanor, let us have an insight into her life, including if she could live anywhere, where that would be.

What’s the best thing about working at OutserveWeb?

We are a small but perfectly formed team, with all the key skills needed to provide our clients with solutions. No two days are the same, and I thoroughly enjoy getting the best out of our team, and enabling them to solve any new challenges that appear.

What made you want to work at OutserveWeb?

The opportunity to embrace the steep learning curve that comes when a middle-aged person joins a technology company 😀 But also, using my skill set gained in ye olden times to add value to our client journey.

What’s your favourite food?

Italian. And Seafood. Both combined is the ultimate, Seafood Risotto being an all time favourite. And cheesecake.

What’s your favourite film?

My favourite film is An Affair to Remember. A love story, made in the 1950’s, starring Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr. Sleepless in Seattle, which is also a love story and loosely based on An Affair to Remember but a more modern day version, is also a favourite.

What do you do in your spare time?

I am a parent, a parish councillor, and an activist for things I believe in, so I have no spare time! 😀

What’s your favourite music?

My top two favourite artists are Prince and Jean Michel-Jarre, and both really couldn’t be more different!! Then 90’s dance music which energises me to clean my house. Closely followed by the 80’s.

What’s your favourite book?

I haven’t got A favourite book, I have MANY favourite books, as I adore reading. Moranifesto, by Caitlin Moran. And Mort by Terry Pratchett. And A Place Called Here, by Cecilia Ahern, which is about the place where all lost things go. I mainly like to escape whilst reading, so fiction is my thing.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?

St Agnes on the Isles of Scilly. Spent some childhood holidays there, and I would love to build myself a home on that remote beautiful island. Either there, or Drum Hill campsite in Derbyshire, which sounds very strange, but it is quite literally my favourite place I have been.

Also… Here’s a picture of Eleanor with the one and only Hugh Grant.

So cool.
