Even though we’re all about digital technology here at OutserveWeb, we’re always looking to make the most of the human element of the business. That is why I was particularly interested to hear Tim Leberecht speak last week at Xerocon. Tim spoke about 4 ways to build a human company in the age of machines, and his examples showed how one of the biggest outcomes of this humanisation is an increase in profitability.

The TED Talk above is a condensed version of the talk he gave at Xerocon, but in just under 12 minutes he gives a more than adequate explanation of these profit-boosting principles:

  • Do the unnecessary
  • Create intimacy
  • Be ugly
  • Remain incomplete
